Spano's Pascal Celery
The Spano Family has been growing Pascal celery since the early 1940's. In mid-march, the celery is seeded in the greenhouse so that by June it is ready to be planted in the fields.
In October, the celery is harvested so that it can be put into a trench to complete the blanching process. After about a month in the trench, the celery is cleaned, wrapped, and sold just in time for Thanksgiving.
Our family takes a lot of pride in this tradition. We love to share the process and product with our customers.
Make sure to call early to secure your celery for the holidays!
